My little girl (a great photographer) has a birthday today and she's now all grown up with a little girl
of her own. Happy Birthday Kristen Joy!

A few weeks ago, Ruby turned 10 and has come a long way from that first day at 1 lb 8 oz, 12 inches long! She's in 4th grade and loves to read, camp, and this year she is learning to do coding (programming) at her school. She takes swimming lessons at school and has decided she'd like to learn to play the drums. She loves her cousins Levi and Jadon and is always excited to come to our house so she can get to see them.

Our son, Kevin and his family live nearby and this year Levi is also 10 and in fifth grade. He played soccer this year and enjoyed it to the extent he's looking forward to playing again next year. He is learning to play the trombone at school and also likes to read. Jadon is a happy two year old and loves Thomas the Train!

In March, this family will be presenting us with our second granddaughter and everyone is excited.

My granddaughter had a great surprise today when they were at a local nature area - she was so excited!

Finally replaced an old birdhouse with this beautiful one our son-in-law made my husband for Christmas.

Mr. Pileated Woodpecker came for a visit today -- so exciting!!

I love my family and just wanted you to see some recent photos and tell you a little about them.

Bob and I - married 46 years ago -- (We are retired! whatever that is! - Bob retired after 40 years with IBM/Lockheed Martin).
I did secretarial work at IBM until our first son was born.

Our three children - Deron, Kristen, Kevin

Our oldest son, Deron, is single and is a great uncle! He has his CDL and drives heavy equipment for a local company.

Our daughter, Kristen and her husband James at his graduation from the University of Buffalo with a degree in Environmental Design and Architecture. James is self-employed at the present time doing construction and remodeling and Kristen has her own photography business and keeps very busy with that.

Our youngest son, Kevin with his wife Susan, Levi and Jadon -- Kevin spent a year in school at Wyotech in Florida and works as a parts manager for Harley Davidson. Susan is on staff at a local Bible college (Davis)

Our three grandchildren - Levi and Ruby are 8 years old and Jadon is 8 months old.
