Our grandson, Levi, starts back to school next week (second grade) and asked if we could go
miniature golfing on this his last Thursday with us before school.
He shot a hole-in-one and won the match against his Grammy and Grampy!!
He's going to be a "big brother" in February giving us a third grandchild -- exciting times!!

Our granddaughter, Ruby, was thrilled to sit behind the controls of a Blackhawk helicopter
yesterday at an air show in her area.
(I guess she'll have to learn to fly by instruments since she can't see out the windshield!)
Most of you remember our micro-preemie (l lb, 8 oz) -- she'll be seven years old in September and
going into first grade.
These helicopters are equipped with electronics at Lockheed Martin in our area.

We've had a Sharp-shinned hawk and a Coopers Hawk hanging around the feeders
and today this Sharp-shinned hung around for quite a while and even chased a Chickadee
into the spruce tree (he didn't catch the Chickadee!) --
Forty-five years ago today we stood before God, family
and friends and pledged to become “one” for better, for worse,
for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health until death
parted us. Our life together has had its ups and downs,
good times and hard times, but they’ve made the bond stronger.
We’ve been blessed with three beautiful children, two wonderful
In-law children, and six years ago our two grandchildren were born
and they’re the best! Looking forward to the years ahead to see
what God has in store for us and our family.
