Apple Pie
Ruby was here for Easter and asked if we could make an apple pie (she had helped me on a previous visit).
She did most of the work (other than cutting up the apples) and did a great job.Rolling the dough --
Fluting the edge -- she did it all by herself --
Making cinnamon bits from the leftover pie crust --
The end result --
Not bad for a seven year old --

Hey welcome back to Xanga. I'm a little behind. Looks like fun for Ruby. My she's growing!
@mcbery: Thank you. I've been here all along but don't post much -- I don't like the new format. Ruby is growing (she's come a long way since her micro-preemie days!) She's doing very well in first grade and told me she wants to be a builder when she grows up. When I asked her what she wants to build her response was "cat towers!" She loves her kitties!
