@slmret: @fwren: @cerwindoris: Thank you for your comments -- she will be 8 years old in September, in second grade and is doing so well. This was taken last year by our daughter in the fields behind our house and I just had to post it! All of you have been here since she was born and except for a damaged vocal chord which causes her to have a quiet voice she has grown into a lovely young "lady" who won an award in her class for being the best reader this year. She loves books, cats, gardening with her Daddy, and building things with blocks, legos, or whatever she can find. When I asked her what she thought she'd like to be when she grows up she responded "a builder". When I asked her what she was going to build she said "cat towers!" She's so much fun! God in his mercy allowed this 1 lb 8 oz micro- preemie to survive and thrive and we will be forever grateful!
